According to Halacha (Jewish Law), it is a direct ordinance of the Torah that the straps of the Tefillin , called Retzuot , both those on the head and the arm, are black at least on their outer side.

Some retzuot (especially those called "Mehudarot" which have a higher level of beauty), are even black on their inner side.

This polish is used to correct those places where the original paint has been marked, peeled or broken.

The lid of this nail polish jar comes with a brush for precision and practicality.

The enamel can be Matte or Glossy Black, depending on the shade of your Retzuot.

Important : Before using it, you must pronounce a declaration of intention, being aware that you are painting the Retzuot for the sake of the sacredness that the Tefillin maintain. The Kavanah is the following: "Leshem Kedushat Tefillin" , and you must say it before you start painting.
