All sheets of parchment that constitute a Sefer Torah or a Megillah, called Ieriot , must be sewn with a special thread called Gid (plural Guidin or Guidim ).
It is manufactured from spinning strands of animal tendon, just as it has been done for thousands of years by the Jewish people.
This publication corresponds to a roll of thread, which is usually enough to sew more than a complete Sefer Torah.
In no synagogue can a Giddim scroll be missing, in order to keep the seams of all the scrolls in condition.
Additionally, if required, you can leave the work in our expert hands, and we will take care of sewing and restoring the Sifrei Torah of your synagogue, being the most precious value they have.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us and we will gladly answer you.
